Review of A Serious Man (2009) by Charles P — 08 May 2011
What? Definitely not their best film. I had hoped I would have enjoyed this one more, but the Coen brothers keep ending with such style that they leave the audience disjointed. And the message here wasn't timeless.
Maybe I would have just liked to see some character development, not just two scenes of the lead getting high and having sex. Still, it's good definitely makes up for it's bad and it's a great film overall.
