Review of A Serious Man (2009) by Bryan B — 12 Nov 2012
The Cohen brothers take awkwardness and despair to hilarious new levels with this offering. While I wanted to love this film I found that my inability to respect the main character kept me anxious the entire movie as I waited for some kind of resolution to his increasingly awful situation.
The laughs and intelligence the Cohen brothers are known for is here albeit delivered in utter discomfort.
