Review of A Serbian Film (2010) by Sitenoise ! — 17 Apr 2011
This is the reverse of Irreversible, which started out in hell and ended sweetly. This film starts out sort of sweet and goes to hell. I was surprised by the impeccable production values. Photography, cinematography, set design, sound design, soundtrack, all very good.
Lead actor does a great job. I couldn't tell if the bad guy was someone I wouldn't like or if he was a bad actor. The film goes places you've probably not been to before but it's not TERRIBLY graphic.
A lot more suggestive and goes through things quicker than I thought it would. And it at least pretended toward substance.
