Review of A Serbian Film (2010) by Moe R — 24 Jan 2012
Really intense and disturbing, but well acted and definitely worth a view. I say only worth a view if you can handle films based on what actually happens along Serbia, or in the world for the matter.
A Serbian Film deals with Milo, who is just living a much deserved normal life after retiring from the pornography industry. Then he gets a phone call from a former associate, aware of his budgeting problems, to meet a top figure in the porn business.
The top figure is named Vukmir, who might seem like an everyday sort of person, but once he wants Milo to star in a lead role of a film he's producing promising he'll help the family's finances, things go into a downward, unexpected, and surreal experience.
This is NOT for everyone.
