Review of A Separation (2011) by Jackson C — 10 Jan 2013
Now that's drama, people. The impending divorce isn't the only separation packed into the dense layers of rifts between generations, sexes, ideologies, and classes. So much is revealed about life in modern Iran in quiet moments and subtle subtext.
Excellent, nuanced performances all around and the pacing and the script...I'll be raving about this one for a while.
