Review of A Separation (2011) by Robert V — 04 Dec 2013
This movie was so character driven with a complicated plot that made me root for them to have a resolution until the very end. Great script. It was a story about real people that could very well live next door to any of us, with issues that are so basic yet so complicated to resolve.
It was set in Iran and based on the characters religion it was powerful to see how a lie can be proven as easy as asking someone to swear on the "Quoran.".
