Review of A Separation (2011) by Armando B — 07 Oct 2015
I really enjoyed this film, and I thought it was quite well done. The story could have been about any middle class family. It just happen to be in Iran, so their culture added an interesting texture to the storyline.
The casting was great, and the plot had a nice twist at the end. Which made the story even more poignant. The Iranians live and breathe poetry, so the story ends in typically enigmatic fashion something that is hard for us to cope with.
So for this being an excellent film and for I foreign film which was great I give " A Separation " a C+.
