A Separation is almost flawless. It can compete with any heavyweight drama in this country, or the world for that matter. The fact that there were English subtitles didn't take away from the experience at all (the mark of a good foreign film).
I didn't particularly care for the ending, but the rest of the movie surely makes up for it.
