Review of A Separation (2011) by Graham K — 03 Sep 2012
It's so foreign and yet so familiar. While the title has little to do with the story, the opening sequence in court lays out the emotional and firy pattern for the rest of the film. So much passion and so much miscommunication, that you'll find yourself caught up in the frustration of each character.
Masterful filmmaking.
