Groundbreaking visuals from Richard Linklater. "A Scanner Darkly" is powerful futuristic vision of the criminal world. I feel this is a combination of Goodfellas and Blade Runner, but with cool visuals make this film to be purely original.
Filmed with live-action animation format, this film presents the adult animated spectacle with a neat plot and would not let us leave the seat. Good job for Linklater and crews!
