Review of A Scanner Darkly (2006) by Laura H — 29 Nov 2010

Interesting surrealistic film with eye food. Though needs to be watched at least twice, as it was little difficult to follow without reading a plot. I'd dare to claim that with little more simplicity this movie would have been even better.

But still, it was fascinating, and the ending was something very not expected. Robert Downey Jr was great in his role and the animation technique got me even little too concentrated on it for many moments, and I stopped following the story itself.
