Articulate rotoscope animation fills Richard Linklater's adaptation of Philip K. Dick's classic novel of a dystopian United States engulfed in widespread drug addiction. It handles the concept of drug addiction differently from that of Darren Aronofsky's "Requiem for a Dream," but has a similar emotional impact that will last for a very long time.
