Richard Linklater brings the rotoscoped animation of his Waking Life to this extremely faithful adaptation of Philip K. Dick's novel. Keanu Reeves plays a cop spying on his drug addled pals. (Portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.
and Woody Harrelson) All the actors are playing shamelessly to type, and coupled with the outre visuals the whole thing comes together effectively.
