Review of A Scanner Darkly (2006) by Ippei K — 19 Feb 2012
I really enjoyed this. The style used in this (unlike any I've seen before) is amazing and it actually works so well for the plot; the animation gives it the drug-induced-trip feel to it that the characters are experiencing.
The cast is solid and are always engaging. The only downside is that the plot tries too much and gets a little overly complicated. But it's definitely an experience that you need to have.
