Review of A Royal Night Out (2015) by Patrick K — 15 May 2015
Set on May 8th 1945 that will always be know as VE Day and it centres around the young Princesses Elizabeth (our Queen now) and younger sister Margaret. The girls want to get in on the celebrations amongst the general public.
Told to stay at the Ritz and be home by 1am was never gonna stick as Margaret goes off with any man she saw and Elizabeth spends the film trying to track her down. Its actually quite a funny film and I dunno how close to factual this is but I had fun with it and its great to see Royalty portrayed in a good manner.
