Really enjoyed this royal court drama set in Denmark during the beginning years of the Enlightenment. Well acted, scripted, and photographed. It wasn't easy climbing out of social darkness and religious superstition and the flawed nature of the people involved didn't help! A good retelling of a dramatic time in Denmark's history as people struggled to be free.
