Pretty sure this movie was tailor made for me. Mads Mikkelsen as an Athiest doctor in 18th century Denmark? I am there.
The writing was amazing, giving us an awesome romance and an awesome drama. The direction, costumes and locations were fucking breathtaking - it seriously looked gorgeous.
Best of all was the timely story (and a true story at that!) of a country becoming awesome by not allowing all the rich people to be all stupid and rich, and the lengths the rich people will go to to stay all stupid and rich.
