Review of A Royal Affair (2012) by Huy N — 30 Apr 2013
I'm not a huge fan of period dramas but a good story's a good story and this one is awesome. Shows in brutal detail the price of adultery and betrayal. Fantastic acting and direction keeps the production values at a high while the story that unfolds, grimmer and grimmer as it does, simultaneously fascinates and unsettles in some ways.
Overall one of the best movies of 2012.
