Judi Dench and Maggie Smith in the same film? Original casting! But, despite the obvious casting of those two pensioner frendly British icons this film is wonderfully balanced and executed. Notable performances from Daniel Day-Lewis and Simon Callow around a young Bonham Carter provide what has provided to be a timeless adaptation of Forster's classic.
