Review of A Room with a View (1986) by David A — 13 Dec 2008
So beautifully shot in Italy and England that the whole premise of "carried away by the scenery" really works. Great performances, tight script a fantastic music make for a compelling movie.
Denholm Elliott's performance is particularly touching. Daniel Day-Lewis is almost un-recognisable thus demonstrating his versatility as an actor.
I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this before. I've seen it so many times. I should really try reading EM Forster some time.
