Review of A Room for Romeo Brass (1999) by Steve C — 25 Jun 2007
Not quite as good as Dead Mans Shoes, but funnier, and Paddy Considine is great in this too, mental but in a different way. The fact his character changes accent every few lines makes him even more hatstand.
The row he has with Romeos dad contains some of the funniest lines ever ("you better leave nicely, before things get really dark"). I really dont know what Bob Hoskins was supposed to do in this film though, one of the most pointless non-characters ever.
