Review of A Room for Romeo Brass (1999) by David P — 22 Nov 2007
A very very good brtish movie by Shane Meddows. Should be more well known and seen buy a heck of a lot more people than it is, but there you go. Paddy Considine's first film, which he steals as a loner coming between two 12 year old mates.
Meadows carries on his usual themes of bullying and pier pressure but the first half is actuayl a comedy. Until you everyone finds out that the character they where all laughing at is actualy quite dangerous.
It's dead good.
