Review of A Room for Romeo Brass (1999) by Matthew M — 27 Nov 2007
In typical Shane Meadows style is this gritty real-life drama. Set in a english bog-standard town where there is not a lot to do apart from find trouble. Meadows has a greta knack of creating this sense of foreboding that something terrible is going to happen and someone is going to snap, which they always do.
Great dialogue and some laughable weirdness from Paddy Considine.
