Review of A River Runs Through It (1992) by Kyle V — 15 Aug 2009
A well done film. Nothing too flashy in terms of cinematography (although Robert Redford does capture the beauty of Montana very well when it's necessary) or editing, but it makes up for it in the characters and the acting skills of Brad Pitt and Craig Schaffer. They both use facial expressions and body language to portray their emotions very well in this film, which is needed as all of the issues that are faicng them isn't said throught he dialogue, but is more or less left to be eninuated by the audience.
Overall a good movie with good moral value in it. That's what I like to see in films is something with a point to it, or a basic message that it's trying to portray underneath the entertainment aspect of it.
