Little goes right with this genuinely terrible movie. I have no idea what happened because I have liked Larry Cohen movies before. The acting is horrible all around. The writing of course is atrocious, but clearly little direction or standards were used to give the actors.
The effects are equally a weakness, but I was able to look past the cheap look. The worst problem the film has is the editing which is amateurish and often laughable. The only good thing I can say about this film is that the score is 80s-tastic.
The composer was clearly scoring for what the film should've been and not what it is.
