Review of A Raisin in the Sun (2008) by Karen G — 28 Feb 2008
A great made-for-TV movie! Phylicia Rashad should get an award for this role. She was dynamic in every scene. Audra McDonald has some great acting chops, she could be the next Kimberly Elise. Sanaa Lathan was endearing as the playful yet headstrong sister and her banter with Combs' character was enjoyable.
But the biggest surprise was Sean Combs, I didn't think he could pull it off, but I stand corrected. He did a great job! He really lost himself in the character.
