Review of A Quiet Place (2018) by Jeff D — 16 Apr 2018
Wow...a lot of hard critics out there. This movie was amazing so I have no idea what any of you are talking about when you say there were a lot of "holes" and that the movie was slow. It was an hour and a half long- perfect amount of time, and the movie started right off the bat and gave us a lot of intel.
If you didn't understand the movie then you weren't paying attention. The creatures were a metaphor for how our fear is silent. So maybe you could of used your imagination a little bit and thought outside the box? There wasn't really a need for us to know where the creatures came from.
Everything about this movie was incredible; the fact that the daughter is actually deaf in real life really made you sympathize with the characters. Also, her having a baby gave a much more dramatic feel to this movie- it was intense and suspenseful.
I could go on and on but I guess people are going to think what they want.
