Review of A Quiet Place (2018) by Paula W — 19 Apr 2018
This was a good film. Aside from the slow beginning if you hang in there it does get better. What it really reminds me of is Signs without the religious overtones with philosophical discussion points and being very quiet.
I did expect a little more out of the movie. I am a big fan of John Krasinski but Emily Blum isn't my favorite female lead. I did enjoy the ASL aspect of the movie and felt it gave a little more awareness to our deaf community.
It has a good ending. I am not one for spoiling. But I felt this was more a rental than a big screen purchase.
