A Quiet Place is a rare gem in the horror genre. It takes such a simple premise and makes it terrifying. Things we take for granted like walking with shoes or using silverware on plates are turned on their head when survival requires complete silence, because even the slightest noise alerts the monsters.
The movie had me at the edge of my seat constantly.
