A Quiet Place is a horror movie that is surprisingly thoughtful and unique. The concept of not making any sound or speaking adds an interesting dynamic to the movie and makes for some really great facial performances from the actors.
The horror and tension is only heightened by the lack of sound, making you constantly on the edge of your seat as you pray each character does not slip up and make noise. The story focuses on a family, meaning the characters are very close and this allows for the characters to be very relatable to audience members.
It is the type of horror movie everyone should see. Even if you are not a fan of the genre, A Quiet Place offers something most other horror movies do not.
