Review of A Quiet Place (2018) by Anna D — 20 Jul 2018

Like some people not understanding the good reviews, I don't understand the bad reviews. The acting is great, especially from the kids surprisingly! Emily Blunt stole the movie to be honest, she was incredible.

I really liked this movie mainly because it was fresh, it was a new idea. We've had COUNTLESS alien movies and honestly, if you want an alien movie full of killing and effects, you have many to choose from.

I like the idea that you can't make a sound. Haha to be honest that part of the plot, along with the aliens making a clicking sound reminded me of Clickers from the game The Last of Us xD I don't know why.

Was just waiting for someone to pick up a bow and arrow. The only part I really didn't like in the plot was the fact that Emily's character was pregnant. Phew .. I mean ... that's a bad situation.

I want to know how they all escaped in the end, but I also liked that it ended on a big cliffhanger with Blunt smirking at her daughter basically saying "let's get these f*ckers". I haven't enjoyed a horror film in a long time, so kudos Krasinski.
