Review of A Quiet Place (2016) by See K — 10 Jan 2019
Two stars begrudgingly for this heavy on atmosphere and short on action and suspense.movie. Everybody had many opportunities to emote themselves silly, but it was too much for me by a country mile. The musical score was close to chamber music and I found myself muting it frequently.
Having read numerous rave reviews and knowing the enormous box office, I was expecting a great deal more than I got.
