Review of A Prairie Home Companion (2006) by Michael F — 16 Nov 2007
This is a wonderful, wonderful movie. I'm not a fan of the music heavily featured in the film, but I came to understand the way it speaks to these characters, and the passion and deep yearning it represents.
This movie isn't even about music, though. It's about the joy we should take in living, the gracious acceptance of loss, and the inevitability of an ending. What a way for Altman to go.
