Review of A Prairie Home Companion (2006) by Chris K — 13 May 2008
I'm guessing some familiarity with the radio show helps with a viewer's enjoyment of this film. It's not a bad film, quite enjoyable, but not exciting. It looks like an Altman film, but 'Gosford Park' is a much better and more enjoyable example of his style of ensemble film-making.
