I like this stuff because it reminds me of (what I imagine to be) my parents' culture when they were growing up.

SPOILER: It has what you might expect to be a very depressing ending, but then the way they handle it shows something about the culture of midwestern small town folks. Oh, and of course, a Texan is the villain!
