Review of A Place in the Sun (1951) by Kevin F — 12 Feb 2008
Great work from stevens. Can you say "overlapping dissolve"? Clifts character is remarkably slimy for a 1951 film. the mis en scene is excellent and Taylor shines as an innocent socialite. The real gem here is a performance from shelly winters.
