Review of A Place in the Sun (1951) by Kyle M — 15 Feb 2015
Unfortunately it'd felled under victim of aging. The romance device of the structure resulted to be a slight boredom by its slow pacing, which affected the film's rating. But what managed to bring a little inclination to the film are the conventions towards the climatic courtroom drama, the score that seems to be at a somewhat Hitchcockian rhythm, and few general shining moments of good performances, mainly from Winters and Clift that gotten them nominated. (B-).
