Review of A Perfect World (1993) by Dave F — 30 Jan 2012
Entertaining, but don't analyze this film too much. The films works on the relationship between Kostner's character and the young hostage. But if you stop and think, this is suppose to be a manhunt for two armed, dangerous, and murderous escapees in Texas, no less.
Come on, these guys would have been caught or shot in a few hours by a hoard of Texas state cops. Overlook the preposterous story line and enjoy the the father/son-type interaction as it develops. Worth your time.
