Review of A Perfect Getaway (2009) by Doctor S — 23 Sep 2010

A 'twist' thriller that builds slowly until punching you in the face and then breaking all hell loose. Audacious and inspired, David Twohy delivers another memorable romp with some arresting imagery, not the least of which are the gorgeous Hawaiian locations.

I was somewhat annoyed with Milla Jovovich's character at first, but she & her beau Steve Zahn soon meet up with scene-stealing Timothy Olyphant who claims a Special Ops background. Haven't analyzed whether all the pieces fit properly, but maybe close scrutiny would spoil the fun.
