Review of A Perfect Getaway (2009) by Elliott S — 09 Dec 2010

Abysmally bad film. It seems to be attempting some sort of "Scream"-esque cleverness with it's self-awareness and campiness, but it lacks the sophistication and excellent suspense of that far superior film.

The twist(s) of this movie are clumsily written and ridiculous, failing to either shock or amuse. The cast is interesting, however, and they provide good work considering the sub-par script they had to deal with.
