Review of A Perfect Getaway (2009) by Matthew B — 09 May 2011
Timothy Olyphant was actually likable in this role! Holy bawls.
[SPOILERS].
My one dislike of the movie - the end, as while yes, she did have some motive to do so, it just didn't feel right [infact the acting was rather bad from her] when Milla Jovovich's character decided to betray Steve Zahn's to the police... Was just a way of getting a Hollywood ending of a happy one in there... : /. --That's the director's cut ending... The Original, Scripted Ending didn't have that, nor Steve Zahn's character being shot... Much better.
Loved it, at the end, when the 4 guys help Kiele Sanchez's character out and Steve Zahn tries to act his way through it, and is discovered because he has giant crack eyes... xD.
Good movie, had a decent twist, too. Great acting, especially from Steve Zahn when he started getting cracked out - serial killer at the end xD. Everybody did alright.
The steel plate-in-the-back-of-the-head-deflecting-a-bullet-that-would-have-otherwise-killed-them thing was fucking stolen by the movie "Faster" after this oen had been out, too... The bastards.
