Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989) by Bailey B — 11 Jul 2011
When you look back on the successful film franchise and see the different films -- Elm Streets 1 and 3 [very good], Elm Streets 2 and 4 [not preferred] -- you can see quite a different take on all the different styles of Freddy.
This movie doesn't display any of them. Freddy is a stand-up comedian in this movie. He isn't taking his roles serious anymore. I would recommend Elm Streets 1-4 ANYTIME, but it's really not all THAT bad.
It's eerie, but Freddy simply isin't scary, that's all.
