Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989) by Max M — 30 Apr 2014
Not the best of the series but at least better than the remake. Shortly after the events of The Dream Master survivors Dan and Alice return again and this time Alice ends up being pregnant and then Freddy Krueger comes back this time inside Alice's unborn son's dreams and is after Alice's friends and killing them off.
While A Nightmare On Elm Street 5:The Dream Child is not my favorite of the series and not as good as The Dream Master it is still a decent entry in the franchise, and what makes this movie is how the special effects(practical) looked great compared CGI today specifically the effects looked great for the Freddy baby which still looks good almost 25 years ago and some other scenes as well like Dan's death.
Overall not as bad as what people say but is still a enjoyable entry in the Nightmare On Elm Street series.
