Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989) by Carter N — 06 Aug 2008
Its a hsmae that freddy became the wisecracking james bond of slasher kilelrs because the first film is a rather nasty good slasher film. They get progressively sillier as the series goes on and this is where I lose interest.
We are meant to be scared of freddy - not cheer him on. Once he becamse the "hero" of the films what's they point? I mean they are entertaining but they are no longer horror films. These are fantasy flicks.
