Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989) by Justin A — 20 Oct 2011
Slightly better than part 4, but not by much. They toned down the comedy and went for a darker tone than the previous had. Some neat ideas, though an obviously rushed script full of extensive exposition-filled dialogue (sometimes when only one character is on screen).
I don't think it's the worst of the series (though not much better than some of the other horrible sequels), but it's far from the best.
