Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) by Keenan S — 19 Aug 2011
An enjoyable, but less memorable entry in this franchise. While the acting and dialogue are pretty stupid, it still has what made this franchise so enjoyable to me like strange (Albeit wacky) kills, an intriguing storyline, an interesting atmosphere, and Freddy still kicks ass even though he somehow keeps coming back to life despite being taken out multiple times already.
If you generally don't like horror sequels, then I don't recommend that you see anything past the third entry because you will only be disappointed. As for me, I'm not ashamed to admit I loved every entry of this franchise.
For a fourth entry, this is a pretty good film.
