Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) by Mike L — 26 Jun 2009
Without a doubt the lowest of the low in the series...first off they had a replacement for Patricia Arquette's Part 3 character and after seeing the movie and script I can see why she passed but it's always hard to get past it when a lead character's replaced.
..if the original won't return then come up with a new idea! The deaths were either cartoonish and ridiculous or boring and anti climatic and the ending was a joke. There were bits and pieces of Krueger goodness in there but nothing like the rest of the series.
