Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) by Jeremy D — 04 Nov 2012
After the horrible "FREDDY'S REVENGE", Wes Craven returns to the series he left after the first film as one of the writers of this horror film. In this one, Kristen (Patricia Arquette), who's nightmares involve Freddy, is sent to Westin Hills, a psychiatric hospital where she meets several other people who are also being terrorized by Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund).
As they try to finish him, they learn they are dream warriors, meaning they have powers in their dreams. Wes Craven and the other three writers didn't do this film justice, neither did the director.
It was not the best of the "ELM STREET" sequels, but it was better than quite a few. It's still not something I would pick up on DVD. Rating: 3/5.
