Second sequel in the popular horror series and a big improvement on the second film. Kristen is sent to a psychiatric ward with some other teenagers after a nightmare involving the infamous Freddy Kruger makes it look like she slit her wrists at home. Her fellow patients are also Elm Street kids and it's not long before Freddy is after them.

Dream Warriors was the first film to feature Freddy's puns/one liners("Welcome to prime time, bitch!") so might be seen by some as the start of things becoming stupid and the beginning of the end for the series but, for me, this has the perfect combination of horror and fun. Witness one patients horrific death as Freddy uses his tendons like puppet strings as he leads the teenage boy to his death. We also find out more about Kruger's origins as 'the bastard son of a hundred maniacs', probably due to Wes Craven's involvement in writing the first draft of the script. Also back is Nancy, helping out the kids, an early performance from Laurence, then Larry, Fishburne, surely one of Patricia Arquette's first film roles as Kristen and an awesome 80's hard rock soundtrack from Dokken! Robert Englund is, again, great as Freddy to in what is arguably the best of he Elm Street sequels.
