For every great idea the remake has they have two bad ones. The potential storyline of 'Did the kids make up that Freddy was hurting them' gets ruined minutes after it's introduced.
Unlike the original that kept moving forward with each scene, this one ruins the pace by having to show the back story and show other character deaths just to up the body count.
